An amazing experience delivered in an ethical and humane way. We had a fantastic tour guide called Dej who was extremely knowledgable and showed us to interact with the animals in a non-intrusive but still enjoyable way. Did the full day tour which I would recommend.

My family of five had an amazing time at Into the Wild Elephant Camp. We did the full day tour, with pick up from our hotel in Chiang Mai. I did research into the various options and I liked that this elephant experience meets ethical standards. You can tell the staff loves the elephants. There are no fences and the elephants are never restrained. The are free to roam the expansive property as they please. During the hike, the elephants led and we followed. The kids really enjoyed feeding the elephants, as well as giving them a mud bath and rinsing them off in the pond. They also got to help prepare a vitamin treat for the elephants and then feed it to them. Thank you to the terrific and knowledgeable staff for a wonderful experience.

My family and I did the full day tour and everything went smoothly and was a lot of fun. The guides and caretakers were very knowledgeable about about the elephants and the history of the Thai elephants. If you’re looking for an ethical tour in Chiang Mai I highly recommend Into the Wild!

Absolutely INCREDIBLE, life changing experience! I did SO MUCH research trying to find the most ethical elephant experience and I'm so happy I chose this one! Mike, our guide was EXCELLENT! He was so knowledgeable and you could tell how much he adores the elephants.
They're so well looked after and cared for. We did the full day experience and it was worth every penny. Trecking with the elephants was a once in a lifetime experience, I'll never forget it. Then we got to make their vitamin balls which was a really cool experience. And after lunch we got to do a mud bath and a swim with them which was absolutely AMAZING!
Book the full day experience with them- you won't regret it!

This is an ethical team that take great care of the elephants and have created a beautiful balance to help us join in on caring for them. Well organised, informative, adventurous and so much fun. And the lunch provided was delicious! This is one of my favourite days ever and I will cherish the moments for ever. So highly recommended :-)

We did the full day which meant we got to hike with the elephants which was actually my favourite part. Do this if you can!
